General rules:

Online Workshops

  1. Attendees are expected to log into Zoom in time before the scheduled time of the event. The Zoom link and password will be email to you well in advance.
  2. If you need to cancel your attendance to an event, you can, we will refund your money if you cancel 2 hours before the meeting. However, a cancellation fee of 10% will be borne by you.
  3. If an organiser cancels the event, we will refund the full amount to you.
  4. Instamojo is our payment partner. Please check out their credentials here - www.instamojo.com
  5. In case you are unable to attend the workshop, and haven't managed to cancel your attendance 2 hours before the workshop, you will be considered as a No Show.
  6. In this case, 50% of the workshop amount would be refunded to you (the attendee) after deducting a cancellation fee of 10%. 50% will be paid to the organiser.


Offline Workshops

  1. Attendees are expected to reach the venue well in time before the scheduled time of the event.

  2. For paid events, the fee includes Rs 300, that you can redeem for F&B at any Doolally Taproom in Mumbai. You will receive it as a code in an email from us, along with your booking confirmation details. However, if you are using a discount coupon code, your fee will not include F&B.
    For free events, we don't levy a cover charge. You can place an F&B order and settle your bill at the end of the event.

  3. You will also be given access to a dashboard. This is where you can contact the organisers or us for more details. You can also cancel your attendance here.

  4. Doolally will bear the 3% payment gateway fees except during cancellations by either the organiser or attendee.

  5. If you need to cancel your attendance to an event, you can, we will refund your money. However, the payment gateway transaction fee of 3% will be borne by you.

  6. If an organiser cancels the event, we will refund the full amount to you.

Mexican Folk Art Workshop with Trishna Patnaik
One of the most appreciated aspects of Mexican Folk Art is its great variety. This diversity is not only because of the difference between communities but also for the great variety of raw materials available in the country. Mexican folk art, also called artesenia, often has a practical purpose independent of decoration. The state of Oaxaca is best known for its traditional Mexican folk art, but every region offers its own distinctive style. One of the key characteristics of Mexican art is brightly coloured paintings and jewellery featuring a bounty of flora and fauna. These vibrantly coloured plants and dense, lush forests are prominently featured. Also prominently featured were many different creatures, including animals such as: Birds, Fishes, Lizards and Cats. These animals were featured in all types of Mexican artwork, but maybe most notably in alebrijes, which are brightly coloured Mexican folk art sculptures. These also often featured fantasy and mythical creatures. How fun! You will be working on the animals inspired Mexican Folk Art in this painting workshop using acrylic colours on cartridge sheets.
Anyone below the age of 21 years will have to be accompanied by a parent.
