Carve with Clay
A slab of clay, a carving tool and a paintbrush. Two hours, and you leave with the piece you made.
Carve with Clay is slow, tactile and genuinely absorbing. You start with a smooth slab of clay and work a botanical design into the surface — line by line, layer by layer — until a pattern emerges that’s entirely yours. Then you choose your colours and paint it. It’s the kind of work that quiets your head within ten minutes.
We keep the table deliberately small. That means your instructor is sitting next to you when you need them, not calling instructions across a room. You’ll be taken through the process properly: preparing the slab, transferring your design, the carving technique that creates a clean finish, and how to paint without losing the detail you’ve just carved. Templates are available if you’d rather not draw freehand.

Who it’s for
Open to everyone. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent. First-timers, date nights and small friend groups are all welcome, and if you come solo, you won’t be sitting quietly in a corner.

Seats are limited, so booking ahead is recommended
We’ll be working with clay and acrylic paints, so wear something you don’t mind getting a little messy

Cancellation policy
Cancel up to 24 hours before the workshop for a refund, minus a 5% payment processing fee. Cancellations within 24 hours of the event are non-refundable. Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days.
