General rules:

Online Workshops

  1. Attendees are expected to log into Zoom in time before the scheduled time of the event. The Zoom link and password will be email to you well in advance.
  2. If you need to cancel your attendance to an event, you can, we will refund your money if you cancel 2 hours before the meeting. However, a cancellation fee of 10% will be borne by you.
  3. If an organiser cancels the event, we will refund the full amount to you.
  4. Instamojo is our payment partner. Please check out their credentials here - www.instamojo.com
  5. In case you are unable to attend the workshop, and haven't managed to cancel your attendance 2 hours before the workshop, you will be considered as a No Show.
  6. In this case, 50% of the workshop amount would be refunded to you (the attendee) after deducting a cancellation fee of 10%. 50% will be paid to the organiser.


Offline Workshops

  1. Attendees are expected to reach the venue well in time before the scheduled time of the event.

  2. For paid events, the fee includes Rs 300, that you can redeem for F&B at any Doolally Taproom in Mumbai. You will receive it as a code in an email from us, along with your booking confirmation details. However, if you are using a discount coupon code, your fee will not include F&B.
    For free events, we don't levy a cover charge. You can place an F&B order and settle your bill at the end of the event.

  3. You will also be given access to a dashboard. This is where you can contact the organisers or us for more details. You can also cancel your attendance here.

  4. Doolally will bear the 3% payment gateway fees except during cancellations by either the organiser or attendee.

  5. If you need to cancel your attendance to an event, you can, we will refund your money. However, the payment gateway transaction fee of 3% will be borne by you.

  6. If an organiser cancels the event, we will refund the full amount to you.

Brush Lettering Basics Workshop
Brush Lettering also known as Modern Calligraphy, is an interesting type form that is fun to learn and comes handy for writing impressive cards, invites, journaling and personalising any surface with words. The workshop aims at getting the participants started with the art of Brush Lettering and equips with the necessary techniques to start building on the skill. From holding brush pen correctly to drawing the basic strokes used to form a letter, practicing every letter and connecting it seamlessly to the next to write.a word flawlessly. The workshop has a kit that includes all the supplies: a unique Brush Lettering pen, leaflets and most importantly a workbook that serves as an elaborate guide. This workbook is an original document compiled by me covering all the big and small details of steps to build each letter from insights over the years of experience. The brush lettering workshop is a delightful experience which indulges the adults and teens alike. This art form is so enjoyable and meditative that is used in therapy to help the candidates feel calm. It is a relaxing, fun and learning experience for adults with gaining a new skill at the end of it. Because of the technical nature of breaking down letters into strokes and practising slow, steady and repetetive strokes it is daunting and exhausting for kids below the age of 12 years. Hence, the age bar for this workshop is 12 years and older. This Brush Lettering workshop will be for 2.5 hours where the participants will be taught how letters are broken down into shapes. After practicing these shapes, the formation of letters will be covered which lends to a strong base to come up for the recipe to build each letter independently.
