General rules:

Online Workshops

  1. Attendees are expected to log into Zoom in time before the scheduled time of the event. The Zoom link and password will be email to you well in advance.
  2. If you need to cancel your attendance to an event, you can, we will refund your money if you cancel 2 hours before the meeting. However, a cancellation fee of 10% will be borne by you.
  3. If an organiser cancels the event, we will refund the full amount to you.
  4. Instamojo is our payment partner. Please check out their credentials here - www.instamojo.com
  5. In case you are unable to attend the workshop, and haven't managed to cancel your attendance 2 hours before the workshop, you will be considered as a No Show.
  6. In this case, 50% of the workshop amount would be refunded to you (the attendee) after deducting a cancellation fee of 10%. 50% will be paid to the organiser.


Offline Workshops

  1. Attendees are expected to reach the venue well in time before the scheduled time of the event.

  2. For paid events, the fee includes Rs 300, that you can redeem for F&B at any Doolally Taproom in Mumbai. You will receive it as a code in an email from us, along with your booking confirmation details. However, if you are using a discount coupon code, your fee will not include F&B.
    For free events, we don't levy a cover charge. You can place an F&B order and settle your bill at the end of the event.

  3. You will also be given access to a dashboard. This is where you can contact the organisers or us for more details. You can also cancel your attendance here.

  4. Doolally will bear the 3% payment gateway fees except during cancellations by either the organiser or attendee.

  5. If you need to cancel your attendance to an event, you can, we will refund your money. However, the payment gateway transaction fee of 3% will be borne by you.

  6. If an organiser cancels the event, we will refund the full amount to you.

Exploring Relationships - Short Films Screening
Screening of three short films that explore different and complex relationships on a Sunday afternoon at Doolally, Khar. The movies to be screened -
  • The Housemaids - By taking Jean Genet's play 'The Maids' as a point of departure, the film is a journey through the mind space of two sisters - oppressed in captivity of each other.
  • And sometimes, she loved me too - Visually, we see them up close, with all their macro details, like looking through a magnifying glass, putting them center stage, like one usually never sees them.

    The film has been designed in a personal yet universal way, trying to hinge a story but also leave open interpretation such that this could be any relationship. That’s the thing with ordinary objects, once you start looking, you cant but keep looking, observing and projecting your own stories on them.

  • Amma Meri - When Balram learns about the money in his ailing mother's account could be his, only after her death. He begins to think of this as the only solution to all his problems.
